Life is unpredictable, especially during these transitions. We can always adjust your support level - add sessions when you need more intensive care, or extend timelines as needed.
-
Absolutely. Many clients flow from fertility support into pregnancy packages, or from pregnancy into extended postpartum care. We'll create a path that serves your whole journey.
-
That's exactly what our consultation call is for. We'll explore where you are, what you're needing, and design support that fits your unique situation.

-
Absolutely, yes. I'm here to support LGBTQ+ families through every step of your journey into parenthood.
I know that building a family can look many different ways, and I'm committed to creating space that honors your unique path - whatever that looks like for you. Whether you're exploring fertility options, navigating donor conception, considering surrogacy, processing adoption, or walking any other road toward parenthood, I'm here to witness and support your experience exactly as it unfolds.
Your pronouns, your chosen family, your conception story, your fears and hopes - all of it is held with deep respect and understanding. I follow your lead on language, honor your family structure, and create a space where you can be completely authentic about your experience.
Every family's journey is sacred, and every path to parenthood deserves celebration and support. I'm here to hold space for whatever comes up - the joy, the challenges, the uncertainty, the transformation - all of it. You don't have to navigate this alone.

While my work can be deeply therapeutic, I'm not a licensed therapist and don't take a traditional talk therapy approach. Instead, I'm a trained somatic experiencing practitioner, which means I'm specialized in working with your nervous system to help you process experiences and emotions.
Somatic experiencing focuses on how trauma, stress, and life transitions are held in the body. Rather than just talking through experiences, we work with your body's natural wisdom to release stored tension and support your nervous system in finding regulation. This might include breathwork, gentle movement, body awareness practices, and helping you tune into the sensations and signals your body is sending you.
In my experience, this body-based approach can have profound and lasting effects, especially during the intense physical and emotional transitions of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Your body is going through so much during these times - somatic work honors that your healing happens not just in your mind, but through your entire being.
Because I'm not licensed, I don't take insurance, but many clients find this work creates real, therapeutic change. I often work alongside other providers because I believe in comprehensive care - sometimes healing happens best when you have multiple forms of support. If you need crisis support, I'll help connect you with immediate resources while continuing to hold space for your somatic healing.
The work we do together addresses the root of where experiences live in your body, creating lasting transformation through a different pathway than traditional therapy.

I'm specifically trained to work with postpartum depression and anxiety through a trauma-informed, somatic experiencing approach. Many trauma healers and somatic practitioners are recommended for this work because they understand that postpartum depression often has roots in the body's response to overwhelming experiences.
From a somatic perspective, trauma occurs when we experience "too much, too fast, too soon" - and birth, postpartum recovery, and the massive life transition into motherhood can absolutely fall into this category. When we experience symptoms of depression or anxiety, it's often because our natural defensive responses have been thwarted or overwhelmed. Our nervous system gets stuck in protective patterns that once served us but now feel limiting or painful.
Through somatic work, we help your body restore a sense of empowerment and safety. This might look like working with the freeze response that can show up as numbness or disconnection, or helping your nervous system find regulation after the intensity of birth and postpartum. We work with your body's innate wisdom to complete interrupted responses and find new pathways toward healing.
Postpartum depression isn't just "in your head" - it's a whole-body experience that deserves whole-body healing. The somatic approach can be particularly powerful because it addresses the root of where these experiences live in your nervous system, not just the symptoms.
That said, healing isn't one-size-fits-all. If our work together doesn't seem to be helping you in the way you need, I'll work with you to find the right clinician or support person who can serve you better. Your healing matters most, and sometimes that means finding the right combination of support.

I offer virtual support, which I've found to be incredibly beneficial for people navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Virtual sessions meet you exactly where you are - whether you're on bedrest, dealing with morning sickness, managing a newborn's schedule, or simply feeling more comfortable in your own space.
Virtual sessions also provide continuity of care no matter what happens. If you're traveling, in the hospital, or your baby arrives early, we can still meet and maintain your support. This consistency is especially valuable during times of transition and uncertainty.
This somatic work has proven to be just as impactful virtually. Your nervous system responds to safety and attunement, not proximity - and we can absolutely create that healing container through a screen. Many clients find they're actually more open and vulnerable in their own space, which can deepen the work.
